Will I need new bins?

Everyone (except people who live in a flat or apartment and have shared bins) will receive a new food bin and kitchen caddy before the weekly food waste collections start from 30 September.

If you opt-in to the new garden waste collection service, you will receive a new brown wheeled bin for the collection of garden waste only.

Your existing green-lidded wheeled bin will become your recycling bin for glass, plastics, cans, foil, aerosols and drink/food cartons.

Your existing green box will be for the collection of paper and card/cardboard.

Your existing black rubbish bin will remain for non-recyclable rubbish.

Please select from the list opposite for more information.
